Yaotécatl Soccer Academy

After four years of intense work in the development of a soccer school for girls, boys, and young people from ages 6 to 15, this project has managed to fly on its own. The achievement is due to the efforts of Claudia Almanza Tacubeño, Martín López Guzmán and Julio César Romero Coatzin. Thanks to these 3 entrepreneurs for having a dream and making it come true!

During 2020, before the start of the contingency, 83 people participated in the program, and 48 were part of our local soccer tournament.

The operational team continued training in soccer methodologies: we finished our certification process with Proyecto Cantera, who trained us in techniques for educational work through soccer and the use of the Green Card ® Imaginalco will be the first institution certified by this amazing organization! We are also certified as Level 1 Coaches of Change through the Girls United organization, we continue in learning sessions with them to acquire more psychosocial work tools. In addition, as part of the sub-donation project we took training for the management of sports injuries.
Finally, we promoted the training of local coaches focused on women's and mixed soccer games that support the development of life skills through sport.
