Youth Leadership Training
In 2020 we reaped the fruits of constant work and the crisis showed us how each participant has developed new skills by having the support and relevant tools at hand. This year, our operators (young people who have undergone a training process with Imaginalco for some years) became educators with the Xoloescuela project. They accompanied and inspired other children and young people in their community to continue with their studies.
After a lot of work, this year the first generation of youth leaders graduated and were fully integrated into Imaginalco's work team. After a formative process, they decided to dedicate their time to promoting the integral development of the girls, boys, and young people of Malinalco and to become actors of change in their community.
"Being in the program has helped me a lot, graduating means that I can be fully in the social area and I can influence the community from my place in Imaginalco. Being here is really fulfilling, I feel that I had not found a way forward and now I am sure that this is my path and that every day I can improve. I believe that I will achieve what I want and, at the same time, I will be able to take care of my family. Although I don't have a career, now I understand many things and I have learned to be critical of myself myself and understanding with others. I want this new role to be beneficial for both the organization and myself. "

Youth leadership training
We work in the formation of young people between the ages of 15 and 29, who began as participants in our activities and who today are becoming positive leaders in their community. We seek to:

We worked directly with 11 young people.

We trained 4 young people from the community, who joined the Imaginalco team and now operate as educators.
